Renewable Natural Resources Foundation

RNRF was established as a consortium of scientific, professional, educational, design, and engineering organizations whose primary purpose was advancing science, applying science, and public education in managing and conserving renewable natural resources.

The mission of RNRF is to advance interdisciplinary science, understanding, and stewardship of renewable natural resources by fostering interdisciplinary activities and synergy among professional, scientific, and educational organizations, and through public education.

The RNRF Grant Program supports collaborative, multidisciplinary, multisector projects. This program aims to advance the mission of RNRF and its member organizations by providing grant opportunities to:

Build and sustain multisector, multidisciplinary collaborations
Bridge the gap between research, evidence-based practices, and implementation
Engage community partners and stakeholders

The RNRF 2026 Grant Program adheres to a two-step process. The first step is a Letter of Inquiry (LOI), due on May 15, 2026. Based on information supplied in the LOI, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal. Please refer to the RFP for details.
